Grace Fletcher

Grace K. Fletcher received her B.S. degree in Biomedical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin in 2013. During her undergraduate career she researched with Dr. Nicholas Peppas for four years in the Laboratory of Biomaterials, Drug Delivery, and Nanotechnology culminating in an undergraduate thesis where she synthesized a responsive polymer for delivery of small molecular weight therapeutics. Following graduation she joined a startup company, NanoHybrids, developing nanoparticle contrast agents for photoacoustic imaging, optical imaging, molecular diagnostic, and theranostic applications. Grace is a fourth year Ph.D. student and is a recipient of a College of Engineering Doctoral Fellowship.
